Happy birthday and five-year publishing anniversary to my first book, All Downhill from Ivan Puffenbarger. I posted on Facebook yesterday (the anniversary of the launch party, which is one of my most treasured memories) about this and was surprised to find people commenting on where in the world their copies of my book are. As friends have moved abroad (or have remained abroad), versions of All Downhill have ended up in such remote locales as Australia, Switzerland and yes, even Texas.
Though it isn’t my favorite writing, mostly, I remain proud to have created something and honored to have readers who liked it.
